Ahmedabad: Jagdish Joshi, a Gujarat University professor and the director of Indian Association For Canadian Studies (IACS), has been selected for ‘Leadership For Academicians Program’ (LEAP), a development training program for academic functionaries by ministry of human resource development, Delhi and Harvard Graduate School of Education, USA in Delhi.
Professor Joshi is versatile scholar who has been training professionals and officers of various fields since 2005. He has association with more than eight national and international vocational institutes and visited total 19 countries which includes Canada, Germany, UK, France, Switzerland and Netherland.
To honour his exceptional work in field of education, United Nation Organization has awarded him with ‘Excellence in Education’ by (UNO) in 2006.
